WELDING AND MACHINING EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; and request for proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03 (17 January 2025). The solicitation number for this request for proposal (RFP) is W91ZLK-25- R-1AJT. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a small business set-aside under the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The size standard is $12,500,00.00. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price type contract in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement will be evaluated as lowest price technically acceptable, for the procurement of the following services. All offerors shall provide a price to perform the requirements of the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS), using the schedule of services attached. Price proposals shall include Firm Fixed Pricing for one (1) base year and two (2) option years of 12 months. Proposal Format: Volume I: Detailed Technical Proposal to include the following elements: The offeror s proposal shall adequately describe and present a clear understanding of the requirements specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The proposal provides evidence to demonstrate the ability to perform the required services as indicated in the PWS specifically paragraph C.2. Key Personnel Qualifications: The Contractor shall provide, at a minimum, one (1) certified and trained technician with four (4) years of demonstrated experience in welding, cutting, and sheet metal service fields. This technician must possess the technical expertise to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including CNC controls, mechanical machines, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems. Offerors must submit a resume for this technician as part of their proposal, in PDF format and not exceeding three (3) pages. The resume should clearly demonstrate the candidate s certifications, training, and relevant experience. Additional personnel shall possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience and demonstrated knowledge in machine tool, welding, and sheet-metal service fields; however, resume submittal is not required for these positions. Proposals lacking the required technician s resume may be considered non-responsive. The proposal must demonstrate the personnel qualifications align with PWS paragraph C.1.6.1 and C.1.6.2.
