** FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY** Fleet Logistic Center Puget Sounds (FLCPS) is seeking a contractor to provide all material and equipment necessary to accomplish Warping Capstan for Mooring Station No.5; load test AND Warping Capstan for Mooring Station No.6; load test on LPD vessel. This will be performed in Sasebo Ship Repair Facility in Japan. The anticipated period of performance is during 11/1/2025-12/31/2025, the timing will be discussed with the end user after award the contract.

This notice is issued solely for market research purposes to determine industry interest and capability to perform capstan load testing in support of SRF Sasebo, Japan requirements. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal, and no contract will be awarded based on this notice. Fleet Logistic Center Puget Sounds (FLCPS) requires contractor support to perform Static Rated Load Testing on mooring/warping capstan(s) aboard a LPD-type vessel at SRF Sasebo, Japan. Testing must verify the capstan s ability to meet operational specifications after maintenance or overhaul, in compliance with Navy standards and guidance. Place: Sasebo Ship Repair Facility in Japan. The anticipated period of performance is 11/1/2025-12/31/2025, the timing will be discussed with the end user after contract awarded.
