The US Fish and Wildlife is seeking to rent heavy equipment for multiple short periods during the time period of 4/6/26 - 12/19/26. Requirements: The Contractor be the owner of the required machinery and be located a reasonable distance from Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge, FL Levy & Dixie Counties. A. Excavators (Quantity: 2 units) Each excavator shall meet or exceed the following specifications: - Minimum size: Caterpillar 320 class or larger (20 ton class). - Operating weight: Approximately 40,000 50,000 lbs. - Cab: Fully enclosed, air conditioned, with radio. - Controls: Must be convertible between backhoe mode and excavator mode. - Hours: Each machine shall have 500 operating hours or less at time of delivery. - Condition: No major leaks, mechanical defects, or safety issues.
