The JAB utilizes an M1A1 Abrams tank hull with a hydraulic Bridge Launcher Mechanism to launch and retrieve the Military Load Classification (MLC) 115 scissoring bridge. The Viewer Night Vision is a component of the JAB Vision System. The Viewer, Night Vision, is also known as the DVE Wide Camera. It is the front camera of the vision system. The DVE wide camera contains three infrared cameras each having a 40-degree HFOV and a 30-degree VFOV. The HFOV of the three cameras overlap and are digitally laid together in a single image. The image presented by the camera is a 107-degree HFOV. The camera provides a highdefinition video signal and is the operator s main camera for driving and launching the bridge.
