Summary

AI-generated · Aug 23, 2025

Furnish and manufacture a VALVE, SAFETY RELIEF under firm contract requirements, with Government source inspection and full traceability. Item identification must follow MIL-STD-130, Rev. K, and you must verify the nomenclature, part number, and NSN before responding. Substitutions or design/part-number changes require prior notification and a written change order from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer; Code 1 changes (part-number only) are allowed if parts are identical, otherwise approvals are needed. If a new supplier is used for castings, the valve must be grade "A" shock tested per MIL-DTL-901. All freight is FOB Origin. The award will be bilateral and requires the contractor’s written acceptance, with accelerated delivery encouraged under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities.

Quality and packaging requirements emphasize conformance to contract requirements, with records of all inspection maintained for 365 calendar days after final delivery. Packaging must follow MIL-STD-2073 where applicable, and traceability must be maintained; if you are not the manufacturer, provide an official OEM letter confirming you are an authorized distributor. The solicitation notes verify nomenclature, part number, and NSN prior to responding, and the order weighs on tight delivery timelines under EAF allowances.
