The Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of VAAR 819.7008 (Sole Source Award to Verified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses). 485991- Special Needs Transportation, with a small business size standard of $19.0 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS Due to time constraints and the need to prevent a break in service for these essential transportation services starting 01/01/2026, a sole source 3-month bridge contract will be executed IAW with RFO 5.101 (b)(2) Using other than full and open competition (see 6.103), except for the authorities at 6.103-1 (only one responsible source).
