This action is to perform market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; (3) Small or emerging small business firms; or (4) large business firms to set aside a single award contract. The Government requires a contract for ambulance services. The services are to be all-inclusive to include medical equipment necessary for the transportation of Veterans of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System requires transportation of deceased patients. Patients maybe located at the University Drive or Heinz locations and will require transportation to UPMC or The Allegheny County Coroner s Office. VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System no longer performs autopsies in house. Attached is a DRAFT copy of the SOW. Please review for additional information. All interested firms who can meet the requirement should respond, in writing, and provide the following: 1. Please describe your business in a Capabilities Statement. 2. Please provide your SAM UEI number. 3. Please provide your location / address. 4. What is your Socio-Economic status? 5. Are you capable of picking up and dropping off at all required locations? 6.
