The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project titled Cooling Towers Replacement at the United States Penitentiary (USP) located in Pennington Gap, VA. USP Lee is a federal correctional facility located at Hickory Flats Road, Pennington Gap, VA 24277. The work to be performed in association with this project includes the following scope: 2 Cooling Towers Replacement The contractor will provide labor, equipment and materials needed to complete the project. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: Demolition of 2 existing cooling towers. Installation of 2 new cooling towers Please note that the attached Statement of Work is subject to change. The Attachment included with the solicitation will provide complete requirements for the project. The solicitation will be posted at a later date.
