01 MODIFICATION TO CORRECT SOW, SEE BELOW FOR THE CORRECTED INFORMATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE 70Z08526Q003444 The Department of Homeland Security {DHS}, United States Coast Guard {USCG} Surface Forces Logistics Center {SFLC}, located at 1 Eagle Road Bldg. 55, Alameda CA 94501 is issuing this Notice of Intent {NOI} to inform industry contractors of the Government's intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price {FFP} Contract IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation {FAR} Part 12 and 13 procedures. The intended Contractor WOODWARD, 1041 Woodward way, Fort Collins, CO, 80524 United States. USCG SFLC requires: USCGC Hamilton technical service to repair micro-CP. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation {FAR} Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR 13.106-1{b}{1}, allowing the Contracting Officer {KO} to solicit from one source. TECHNICAL SERVICES TO REPAIR WOODWARD MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1035) Background. CGC HAMILTON is unable to operate the Main Gas Turbine. Initial trouble shooting determined a critical failure in the Woodward panel. Further troubleshooting revealed RAM failure fault codes. HAMILTON requires a certified Woodward technician to troubleshoot the cause of failure and to replace the MICRONET CPU with a newly reprogrammed one. Scope. 1 Field Service Engineer for two (2) ten (10) hour travel days and two (2) ten (10) hour days on a single visit for following: MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1035) inspection and troubleshooting. Perform CPU replacement with a working MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1035). This would include programming and uploading the appropriate software for proper function. Tasks.
