This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z02926QNEWO0001 This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses. This acquisition is Total Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS is 237110. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The government proposes to solicit from the attached scope of work. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Construction are included in this order and are applicable. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price/Technically Acceptable methodology. Evaluation Process: The quote will be evaluated to determine technical acceptability and a fair and reasonable price. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management. United States Coast Guard Station South Padre Island, TX is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to repair or if found unrepairable, replace some or all existing fire hydrants located on the premises, at the following location: 1 Wallace L Reed Rd South Padre Island, TX 78597. It is mandatory to examine the scope of work, and to visit the facility as per FAR 52.237-1 to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the work at Coast Guard Station South Padre Island. The United States Coast Guard is accepting quotes from qualified individuals or firms to provide all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, supervision, licenses, and management for Internet and Cable Television service for Coast Guard (USCG) Station Grand Isle. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the Performance Work Statement to become familiar with the required work, and it is highly recommended to visit the location to become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. The Government will evaluate the past performance of each offeror to determine the degree of confidence that the offeror will successfully perform the contract requirements. Evaluation will consider the relevance, quality, and timeliness of prior work as demonstrated through submitted references and independent government sources. Offerors with no relevant past performance will receive a neutral rating. Past performance will be rated and factored into the overall evaluation as specified in the solicitation. Offerors, if they wish, can also provide information on problems encountered on the identified contracts and the offeror s corrective actions. The Government shall consider this information, as well as information obtained from any other sources, when evaluating the offeror s past performance. The source selection authority shall determine the relevance of similar past performance information. This is set aside 100% for small businesses.
