SYNOPSIS OF TRI SERVICE CAD/PAD LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT This synopsis is provided in accordance with FAR 5.204 Presolicitation notices. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a contract for an Tri Service Cad/Pad Life Cycle Management Support on a sole source basis to: Accurate Energetic Systems LLC Applied Energy Technology Corporation Chemring Energetic Devices EaglePicher Technologies, LLC Ensign - Bickford Aerospace & Defense Innovative Material &Processes Martin Baker Aircraft LTD Nammo Defense Systems Rockwell Collins Stratus Systems, Inc. under a class justification and approval. The aforementioned contractors are the only qualified vendors capable of providing these services in support of Tri Service Cad/Pad Life Cycle Management Support and is a logical follow on in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The intended contract will consist of one (1) base year and four (4) ordering periods. This synopsis is for information purposes only. The proposed contract action is for services the government intends to solicit and negotiate as a sole source effort under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) requires a contractor who is capable of providing the following on behalf of the United States Navy (USN): materials, tooling and equipment necessary to fabricate, perform in-process and acceptance test, and package the hardware parts. The contractor shall provide copies of all material sources (manufacturers and vendors), certification documents, and quality assurance (QA) testing of material inspections.
