Description: The 60th Contracting Squadron, Travis AFB, CA 94535, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to: Vendor: Bauer Compressors, Inc. Address: 1328 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, Virginia 23502-1944 UEI: EZVMH8VEGL34 CAGE Code: 57328 This procurement is for the BAUER Compressors SNGII-MVT Stationary Nitrogen Generator, which is proprietary to Bauer Compressors, Inc. The nitrogen generator was designed, engineered, and manufactured by Bauer, and therefore must be maintained by the original equipment manufacturer to ensure continued performance, reliability, and warranty compliance. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as Bauer Compressors is the only known source capable of providing the required maintenance services without incurring unacceptable delays or duplication of cost. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by September 18, 2025, 10:00 a.m. (PST). The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base intends to establish a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide Consolidated Tool Kits (CTK's).
