Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Teller Window Modification Services for the Consular Section at the U.S. Consulate Fukuoka, Japan. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the RFQ, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the email address shown in paragraph 3. Quotations of the Cover Letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a Purchase Order to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable quote at the lowest price. The U.S. Embassy Tokyo intends to award the Purchase Order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The U.S. Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and walk-through at the site, and the date for this conference and site visit is in the solicitation. Quoters shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their quotation as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of quotation submission will deem the quoter s quote to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, quoters are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
