This a follow-on contract to FA930419D0001. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for engineering and ancillary services with an anticipated award date of or on before 01 February 2026. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This authority is supported by an approved sole source justification letter. The applicable NAICS code is 54512 and the size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $34M. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process, matters of a routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should not be addressed to the Ombudsman but rather the Contracting Officer identified below.
