Raytheon Company (McKinney, TX) is the only known source with full repair capabilities; the government does not possess complete data, drawings, or rights to the items. Although the requirement is sole-sourced to Raytheon, all responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration.
A government source approval is required prior to contract award because the items are flight-critical and adequate technical data for repair or production may not be available for open competition. Only the previously approved source has been solicited. If you are not approved, you must provide the information requested in the NAVSUP Source Approval Information Brochure with your proposal, and you may also submit a NAVSUP Interested Vendor Form. If source-approval cannot be processed in time, an award may proceed to meet Fleet support needs.
