The USAHCA Medical Readiness Contracting Office Europe-USAHCA-MRCO-EUR is issuing the sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for sterilizer maintenance services. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with business size standard $34M. PSC code is J065 maintenance and support. The anticipated Period of Performance is base of 12 months with four option years, total of 60 months. The place of performance: Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (Landstuhl Germany) Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide non-personal services, encompassing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, parts (excluding repair parts for CLIN 0005), supervision, transportation, and other items necessary to ensure the proper maintenance and operational readiness of all sterilizer equipment identified in the Equipment List. These services include unscheduled routine service calls for routine maintenance issues, emergency service visits for rapid response and repair, and scheduled service visits for preventative maintenance and inspections, all performed according to manufacturer recommendations or as otherwise specified. All work must be performed in a professional manner by authorized service representatives possessing the necessary qualifications and training for the equipment being serviced, adhering to manufacturer specifications and the best industry practices. All parts supplied by the Contractor (excluding repair parts for CLIN 0005) are covered under the terms of this contract, including warranty and replacement. Any deficiencies in equipment performance or condition directly resulting from negligence or improper workmanship by the Contractor's service representatives shall be corrected by the Contractor at no additional cost to the U.S. Government, restoring the equipment to a fully operational status in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
