The USCG Aviation Logistics Center is conducting market research to determine repair sources described as follows: BACKGROUND: The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) operates ten (10) HC-27J Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) in support of USCG search and rescue missions, as well as surveillance and reconnaissance missions. The USCG HC-27J missions require frequent operation at lower altitudes and in salt-laden environments. These environments accelerate corrosion on airframe structures, engines and components of the aircraft. The aircraft and its components are inspected by USCG personnel In Accordance With (IAW) the Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) periodic requirements and in conjunction with the USCG's specialized Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS). The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of any commercially available repair vendors that may be of interest to the USCG. This notice is to assist the USCG in determining the potential sources capable of repair services for the items listed below. The OEM is Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation. All components are required to be repaired IAW OEM Specifications to include the latest OEM Revisions, Updates, and Service Bulletins. Please state the approximate lead-time for acquiring your product and the details and terms of any standard warranty included with the product.
