Summary

AI-generated · Mar 18, 2026

A market survey is being conducted to determine if other manufacturers can supply a 38 kV metal-clad distribution switchgear with performance and listing/approval equivalent to Myers Power Products. For the SATCOM Facility at Camp Blaz, Guam, two switchgear units will be required to be USG owned and turned over to the Guam Power Authority, and must meet GPA’s utility connection requirements and not connect to the 34.5 kV network unless fully compliant. The equipment must have a uniform 42-cell width and identical arrangement of operating devices, interfaces, controls, and indicators to standardize operations and maintenance; interlocks, indications, and controls must be configured for interoperability with GPA; breakers must be interchangeable within the lineup; the control cluster configuration and control wiring must be uniform; remote racking procedures must be uniform; and the gear must accept in-service and spare breakers compatible with existing 34.5 kV switchgear at MCBCB.

This is not a bid or proposal request. Respondents must provide detailed technical data for the Government to evaluate compatibility with the existing system. Do not submit brochures. Submissions become Government property and are not offers or binding contracts. Provide complete information to the designated Navy point of contact by the stated deadline; incomplete or vague responses may be disregarded.
