Motorola Communication System Upgrade RFQ- Amendment 0001 W911S626QA006

This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), UT is issuing a source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a brand name requirement for a Radio System Upgrade. MICC DPG intends to procure this requirement on a competitive basis if market research results in responses from two or more capable vendors. Based on the responses to the sources sought notice, this requirement may be set aside for small business, including the socioeconomic categories, (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. Amendment 0001- Solicitation W911S626QA006 Motorola Communication System Upgrade Description: The purpose of Amendment 0001 to Solicitation W911S626QA006 is to add redacted J&A for Brand Name Motorola to Solicitation file. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dugway Proving Grounds (DPG) Security Guard Branch requires upgrade, replacement, and configuration of outdated Motorola-based communication system (Radios and Accessories). The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment to meet the install and setup requirements. The scope includes the procurement and delivery of Motorola equipment, installation in facilities and vehicles, system programming, testing, removal of obsolete hardware, and basic user training.
