INTRODUCTION The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to issue, a contract for a a new maritime High Power Very High Frequency (VHF) Emitter System, in support of the Aircraft Signature and Avionics Measurements (ASAM) Radar group in the Atlantic Ranges and Targets (ART) department. The requirements are traceable to RDT&E EW user needs. The anticipated award date is still to be determined (TBD). THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential sources capable of providing the support described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources because of this synopsis. ELIGIBILITY The PSC for this requirement is 5841; the NAICS is 334511. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. Specifically, the Government is evaluating the possibility of establishing this requirement as a competitive procurement. ANTICIPATED DELIVERY To be determined (TBD). ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract action. REQUIREMENTS See attached Statement of Work (SOW). SUBMITTAL INFORMATION It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12-point font minimum) demonstrating ability to provide the radars as described in the statement of work. This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: 1. Title of the Requirement you are responding to; 2. Company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), DUNS number, and a statement regarding current small/large business status; 3. Documented proof of written agreement to serve as an authorized agent of the radars. 4. Company s ability to deliver the required products within the required delivery date. 5.
