The alternate product/service must meet the following requirements/specifications: Provide a rugged, high-reliability low voltage cam-style connector system designed for ship-to-shore power applications in caisson and waterfront environments, with the following capabilities: Voltage and Current Rating Rated for use in low voltage (600V) class systems, with a continuous current rating of 690A. Must be capable of handling marine and naval electrical loads. Suitable for ship-to-shore power transfer needs. Must have a low-resistance, high-conductivity contact interface. Physical Requirements Single pole, cam-type connector. Positive latching, ball nose design. Quick connect/disconnect option. Insulated housing with no exposed conductive parts. Ruggedized design suitable for harsh environments. External release mechanism operable with gloved hands. Environmental Sealing Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
