This requirement is for repair services. Our repair services strategy is a ten-year contract (basic plus nine option years) will continue through FY36. The projected quantities will be Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) of 1-5 per year. The Government s needs for repair services are required in order to support current carrier operations. The C-5 s doors include both B-model and C-model C-5 Aircraft. The aft cargo door serves a critical function in loading and unloading oversized cargo. The function of the C-5 main landing gear door serves several functions including aerodynamic efficiency, protection of landing gear components, landing gear operations and the structural integrity of the aircraft.
