Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

AFTAC seeks to procure a radiation software database to manage the Radiation Protection Program and ensure RAM permit compliance. The software must support real-time radioactive material inventory tracking, radioactive waste tracking, leak test records, a training database, source procurement that checks permit limits prior to ordering, radioactive material permit records, equipment inventory and tracking, and radiological survey records; it should also have the capability to add a Chemical Safety module.

Security is a key requirement for installation on AFTAC networks: the product must pass Fortify scans with zero Critical or High severity findings, and all Medium and Low findings must be mitigated. This is a sources-sought informational notice; responses are voluntary and not offers or contract commitments, with no funds provided to prepare responses.

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. The software needs to have the following capabilities: 1. Real-time radioactive material inventory tracking. 2. Radioactive waste tracking. 3. Leak test records. 4. Training database. 5. Source procurement that checks permit limits prior to ordering. 6. Radioactive material permit records. 7. Equipment inventory and tracking. 8. Radiological survey records. The software also must meet stringent security requirements to be eligible for installation on AFTAC networks. These requirements include passing local Fortify scans with zero Critical or High severity findings and ensuring that all Medium and Low severity findings are mitigated. The software also needs to be capable to add a Chemical Safety module. Please submit all responses to the POC listed herein.
