Solicitation- Repair/Overhaul of the C-5 Hydraulic Winch_1680-01-216-4525UC FA8538-24-R-0019

Overhaul for the C-5 Hydraulic Aircraft Mounted Winch, National Stock Number (NSN) : 1680-01-216-4525UC Part Number (PN): 42420-4. This effort will be for a contract that will produce major overhauls of the previously used Hydraulic Winch System into the newest configuration of the Hydraulic Cargo Winch System (NSN 1680-01-216-4525) and minor overhauls of the newest configuration into like new condition. This will phase out other winches including the Dual Power Winch (NSN: 1680-01-593-5680UC) and current Hydraulic Winch. Projected Period of Performance (PoP) of contract award will be for 10 (ten) years. The period of performance for the contract/order will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods. As well as five (5) additional one (1) year options. The estimated unit prices are based on the current overhaul prices that have been inflated with a factor of 5% each out year. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements type contract for the overhaul of above listed NSN for the C-5 Aircraft. This effort is sole source to Goodrich Corporation (CAGE: 3HRL4).Authority for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement.
