Justification for Sole Source: The basis for this sole source determination is an exclusive licensing agreement. The required Centrifugal Pumps, configured per AEL 2-88MSC2001, are only available from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Crane Pumps & Systems PFT Corp. These pumps are critical safety items, and no alternative models are currently available that meet the government's delivery requirements. Market research has confirmed that no other sources can satisfy the Navy's needs for this specific item. Posting Information: This Justification and Approval is posted for transparency.
