This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items, Army Contracting command-Redstone Arsenal intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order for the following: Fire and Emergency Services Division, Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), has a L/H/S requirement to support mission critical testing and development ranges on Redstone Arsenal. The test ranges have inherent dangers due to the nature and type of testing. Often these tests cause grass and wildland fires involving the Wildland Urban Interface, Protected Wetlands, and the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. The 6x6 Utility Vehicle (UTV) is the best tool DES has found to both fight fire and reduce the impact on natural vegetation and habitat. This requirement is in accordance with (IAW) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and Army Installation Wildland Fire Program Implementation Guidance. See the attached Purchase Description. Offerors shall provide the unit price for each item and total amount, to include shipping charges and any additional discounts.
