This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial goods and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USDA, ARS, in Raleigh, NC has a new requirement for an annual service contract for an SPT Labtech Mosquito High Volume (MHV) pipettor and an SPT Labtech dragonfly discovery 6-head dispenser. This will be a base plus 4 option year contract. The government anticipates the award of a firm fixed priced contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote meets or exceeds the specifications listed and that that will be the most advantageous to the government in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. The Government may perform a comparative evaluation (comparing offers to each other) to select the vendor that is best suited and provides the best value, considering the evaluation factors in this solicitation. Evaluation factors are price and technical capability of vendor to meet or exceed the requirements listed below for servicing SPT Labtech equipment. ITEMS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE: In order to be considered for award, vendor shall provide a quote on company letterhead, to include: Vendor s SAM.gov UEI number Technical capabilities Your quote should detail how you will meet or exceed the requirements listed below. Describe how your technicians are certified to work on SPT Labtech equipment, to include installing software updates without voiding any manufacturer warranties. List any discounts offered (replacement parts, labor charges, call outs, etc.) Total cost, to include all option years. Valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quote. Vendor shall identity where the quoted item meets or does not meet each of the Government's functional and performance minimum specifications listed herein.
