NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The 31 Contracting Squadron (CONS) located at Aviano Air Base, Italy is issuing this Notice to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The intended Contractor is KFT Fire Trainer GMbH UK In consideration of the circumstances of the contract action, KFT Fire Trainer GMbH UK. is the only source that can provide a Semi-annual Inspection and Minor Repair Services of Aircraft Live Fire Trainers IAW the PWS dated 31 July 2025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541990-All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services The Product of Service Code for this requirement is J042- MAI NT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIP- FIRE FIGHTING/RESCUE/SAFETY EQUIP; ENVIRON PROTECT EQUIP/MATLS This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive quotes.
