Summary

AI-generated · Aug 28, 2025

A federal financial regulator is seeking market input on a third-party solution that extends Microsoft 365 for secure external collaboration with banks and regulators. Examiners must securely exchange bank supervisory evidence and documentation while maintaining a closed-tenant security posture, meaning no guest accounts in the regulator’s Microsoft 365 tenant.

The solution should streamline bank supervision workflows, avoid duplicating data by leveraging the existing Microsoft 365 environment, and integrate with Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention and other compliance controls. It must provide trusted, auditable, and branded collaboration for OCC-bank interactions and meet federal information security requirements, including FedRAMP and NIST standards. This is an information-gathering activity (RFI), not a solicitation, and the regulator is requesting capabilities, interest, and recommendations from vendors.
