The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, who have the capability and are authorized to distribute the Sebia Capillarys 3 Octa instrumentation or equal item and in particular domestic end items as described in the attached Performance of Work Statement, for the VA Boston Healthcare System. This Sources Sought is Brand Name or Equal and in particular domestic end items. The response shall include product part number, delivery, and support as listed in the Description/Itemization below. All interested firms must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) to be eligible for the award of Government contracts. Interested parties responding to this Sources Sought request shall submit the following information at a minimum: (1) Company name and address point of contact with phone number and SAM UEI. (2) Documentation relating to capability of performance, including installation in a hospital environment, training, and a current point of contact and phone number). (3) Socio-economic status to identify the business class as being a large business, SDVOSB, VOSB, small business, Woman Owned, etc. (4) Place of manufacture (5) Any other pertinent company documentation prior to submission of offers to a solicitation. Any SD/VOSB firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice must also provide proof of registration in the SBA Vet Cert, prior to submission of offers to a solicitation. This market research is for informational and planning purposes. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. Please be advised that the government will not pay any costs for responses and information submitted. All submissions are acceptable via email at frederic.revah1@va.gov RESULTS INFORMATION: Respondents will not be notified of the results, and it is at the discretion of the Government to utilize results. NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT SOLE SOURCE- Sebia, Inc. Capillary s 3 Octa instrumentation and reagents. Response Due Date: August 29, 2025, by 4:30PM (EST) Requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) requires a 5-Year cost per test BPA for the Sebia, Inc. Capillary s 3 Octa instrumentation and reagents. This shall include equipment, as well as all necessary supplies, reagents, network connection, service, maintenance, and parts needed to produce a patient result at a cost per test (CPT) price. Contractor shall provide the Sebia, Inc. Capillary s 3 Octa instrumentation and reagents. and all necessary pieces. Period of Performance: 10/1/2025 - 9/30/2030 The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intent is to procure the referenced services on a sole source basis. No solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 325413.
