Sea-Bird Electronics Calibration Services and Spare Parts 1305M2-25-0735

The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., using the procedures in FAR Part 13.5, to procure calibration services and spare parts, including the upgrade to wet pluggable connectors, and additional repairs on Government Owned Property manufactured by Sea-Bird. Sea-Bird is the only known authorized service center for performing calibrations, recertification, and repair services on this property. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901 as authorized by FAR 13.500(a) and implemented by FAR 13.501(a).
