The Service Contract Division, C410, Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Portsmouth, VA, 23709-5000 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions to provide complete an installation of a fan cyclone motor and upon completion of the installation the technician will test motor to ensure it is operating properly. Technician will LOTO (Lock out Tag out) system prior to removing wires from old motor as defined per statement of work (SOW). This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals, and a contract will not be awarded from this announcement. This announcment is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 811310. The size standard is 12.5 million. This requirement is sole sourced to Security Engineered Machinery Co. Inc. And no other bids will be accepted. Responsible sources may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement in accordance with the posted opening and closing dates. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal officials and owners are currently suspended debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
