The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) plans to release a solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for the cleaning and gas free of sanitary tank #1 for a Virginia Class submarine in accordance with work package HIRMC-005-25. The required work shall take place at PHNSY & IMF. The tentative shipboard dates are from 02 September 2025 - 13 September 2025. Attached to this notice is a draft work package HIRMC-005-25. This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-25-Q-1047. This pre-solicitation notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This posting is not a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Ship Building and Repairing with a size standard for this NAICS code of 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship and Marine Equipment. All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://sam.gov/ database before an award can be made to them. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about 11 August 2025.
