Summary

AI-generated · May 05, 2026

A SABER IDIQ is being researched for Dyess AFB, Texas as a potential 100% small-business set-aside for a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity design-build and minor construction program. The contract would be awarded as a single-award IDIQ with task orders to perform a broad range of maintenance, repair, and construction across multiple trades, requiring in-house design capability or access to licensed engineers and architects. Work will be priced using a government-provided unit price book multiplied by the contractor’s bid coefficient, and most task orders are anticipated to exceed $250,000.

Mandatory requirements include bonding (bid, payment, and performance) up to the IDIQ maximum and individual task orders, and SAM registration with US ownership. For those interested in bidding, the government is requesting capability packages by the stated deadline, including company details, business and socio-economic information, a capability statement of trades, up to three brief recent projects (last five years) with values and pricing model, bonding capacity, and responses to a market-research questionnaire (with questions restated). Packages must be submitted as a single document in PDF or Word, and attachments such as a Draft SOW and Market Research Questionnaire are included in the notice. This is market research, not a contract award or obligation.
