The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small business, small disadvantage business, Veteran owned small business (VOSB), Service disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to NAICS 561210 Facilities Support Services with a size standard of $47M. Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more VOSB or SDVOSB, who are certified and verified in Small Business Administration (SBA) Small Business Search (SBS) website https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ and can perform the service, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. 8127. Responses to this synopsis shall be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on SAM.gov and/or GSA eBuy. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from responding to this sources sought announcement. General Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 22 Contracting Office is seeking sources that can provide Window Cleaning Services for VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073 including the Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center (SACC) located at 16111 Plummer St, North Hills, CA 91343 and the Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center (LAACC) located at 351 East Temple St, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The Contractor shall be responsible for cleaning the all interior and exterior windows, skylight and surface cleaning as well as cleaning window ledges, west entrance, east entrance, north entrance and south entrance, MRI Building, Canteen, and Patio Skylights, patient dining room windows, skylights, main building, SCI building entrance, SCI Solarium between main building, SCI Skylights, SCI Building Exterior surface cleaning, smoking shelter, Main Building exterior surface cleaning, exterior windows of Admin Buildings. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, tools, equipment and materials to perform the window cleaning services. The Contractor must demonstrate and show proof that they have provided window cleaning services in the past, references, POC s and dates services were provided. Contractor shall comply with the Federal, State and local regulations. A site visit will be scheduled in the future for interested Contractors to view all three (3) VA facilities, date to be determined by the Contracting Officer. The intended contract period shall be for one (1) base year with the Government having the option to exercise four one (1) year option periods, dates to be determined by the Contracting Officer.
