BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK (This is for information only) GROUND MANAGEMENT 1.0 General Information Furnish all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish complete daily grounds maintenance services as described herein. A site visit is recommended so that the incumbent contractor knows the facility layout. The contractor will be required to provide services for the following location: James Mountain Inholfe VA Medical Center, 440 S Houston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74127. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment and other services deemed necessary to perform all work as defined in the performance work statement. The contractor shall provide all services on a weekly as needed bases. Normal business hours are 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The Contractor shall perform to the standards expressed in the contract and perform all tasks during these hours. General Description of Grounds Maintenance Services The Tulsa VA is approximately 6 acre campus. Maintain the existing irrigation systems Trim and clearance prune trees, shrubs, groundcover and vines Mow, edge, aerate and remove thatch in turf areas Fertilize plant materials Staking, trimming and guying of trees Replace landscape materials, including mulch, decomposed granite, headers, as needed Provide weed, disease and pest control, including vertebrate pests with the exception of commensal rodents Prepare and properly apply pest control materials and report on type, quantity of materials applied, target pest and locations. Provide erosion control/mediation and pollution prevention Provide litter and debris removal, including graffiti removal Clean pedestrian structures, site furnishings, site walls and pedestrian paving Clean exterior site lighting fixtures, less than fourteen (14) feet in height Clean exterior way-finding and regulatory signs Clean roadways, parking lots, and parking structures Provide project supervision and coordinate activities with VA staff.
