Summary

AI-generated · Aug 23, 2025

Integrated Pest Control Services are being sought to provide comprehensive IPM for Tomah VA Hospital, including exterior barrier treatments and ongoing management of pests across the campus (bed bugs, rodents, flies, bees/wasps, birds, and wood-destroying organisms). The contractor may work with subcontractors under the subcontracting limits and must meet VA pest-management standards and pesticide-related insurance requirements; expect involvement of equipment such as exterior rodent bait stations, interior traps, and fly lights.

Questions in the notice indicate clarifications on SDVOSB/Veterans First preferences, prime versus subcontractor experience and insurance requirements, and whether the SOW has changed (notably added exterior barrier-treatment timeframes). It also requests historical site data (emergency/unscheduled visits, bed bug counts, rodent treatment, fly lights, and other specifics) and confirms that algae is not a covered pest. No awards data are provided.

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center on behalf of the TOMAH VA HOSPITAL is seeking to acquire Pest Control services. This is set aside as a TOTAL SMALL-BUSINESS set-aside. Please see the follow-on Request for Quotes for further details. All email responses must be sent to aaron.rogers1@va.gov.
