NAICS Code: 562111 Solid Waste Collection Size Standard: $47 million Estimated Award Date: September 19, 2025 In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the National Park Service (NPS), National Capital Region, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to: BFI Waste Services, LLC 300 Ritchie Road Capitol Heights, Maryland 20743-3614 This procurement is for solid waste transfer station services in support of the National Mall and Memorial Parks. The Government requires a Transfer Station facility within a 15-mile radius of the National Mall due to operational and logistical constraints. BFI Waste Services, LLC is the only known source that meets this requirement and is the only transfer station within this geographic range. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. This notice is being provided for informational purposes only.
