The Regional Procurement Support Office, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Roof replacement at the Chief of Mission Ballroom in Accra, Ghana The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price type contract during the third quarter of calendar year 2026. The successful contractor shall provide complete construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of the contract within the established timeframe. The United States Government Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (OBO) requires construction services for the removal of the existing roof and replacement with new at the Chief of Mission Residence Ballroom in Accra, Ghana. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Remove existing clay tile roofing, gutters and rainwater leaders. Remove and replace existing wood soffit and facia. Remove and replace existing plywood deck. Remove and replace existing wood roof purlins, joists and trusses with new metal trusses and purlins. Install new reflective insulation. Install new sheet metal roofing panels at all locations. Install new flashings at penetrations and perimeters. Paint all wood facia, eave boards and soffits. Any entry or work visa issues requirements must be clearly discussed with a plan to mitigate any risk clearly identified.
