The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking qualification capability statements from Small Businesses (including those in categories like HUBzone, 8(a)) that can perform the work as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The project is for general infrastructure upgrade to the Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center to include, roadway rerouting and repair, utility connections, building demolition and repairs. The estimated cost of this project is $20M-25M and the period of performance is expected to last 2 years. The work will be considered both Clarke and Loudoun Counties for Wage determination purposes. The Contractor will be responsible for meeting standards of the contract and applicable state laws. Perspective vendors shall submit a capabilities statement that demonstrate the following. The ability to manage a contract of the size, scope and complexity described in the Statement of Work. Specific examples of the similar projects; information shall include a summary of the work, period of performance, total value of the contract and POC information. Capabilities as a firm to perform the tasks under the SOW; specifically the vendor shall meet to its ability to coordinate multiple tasks that are expected under this contract. The vendor shall affirm that it has a Virginia construction license and is fully insured. Bonds will be required for the project. The vendor s response shall be limited to no more 6 pages. The vendor shall identify all socioeconomic categories that it qualifies for. Responses are due to Mr. Matthew Raible, matthew.raible@fema.dhs.gov by July 7rd 1600 local time.
