JOB DESCRIPTION: The work includes maintenance dredging of the Richmond Inner Harbor to -37-ft (MLLW) plus 1 foot of paid overdepth and transporting of the dredged material per the requirements in specification. Material to be dredged from Reaches 1 through 10 is suitable and shall be taken for placement at a Contractor-furnished upland beneficial reuse site. Material to be dredged from Reaches 11 through 14 is suitable and shall be taken for placement at the Government-furnished site SF-DODS or at a Contractor?s furnished upland beneficial reuse site. Contractor shall refer to the DMMO Suitability Determination attached at the end of the specifications package. Sample areas 1 through 4 correspond to Reaches 1 through 10 while sample areas 5 and 6 corresponds to Reaches 11 through 14. All dredging material transportation and material placement shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable contract clauses. This requirement is for Full and Open Competition. It will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) which will result in the award of a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be available on/about July 29, 2025 for viewing/downloading the solicitation and documents. ALL BIDS will be due on/about August 28, 2025 at 12:30 PM PDT. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED, OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
