The purpose of amendment 1 is to extend the proposal due date to September 15, 2025. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Federal Aviation Administration utilizes the Acquisition Management System (AMS) in place of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This requirement/solicitation is a total small business set-aside. This is a Request for Proposal for the replacement and caulk of the Air Traffic Control Tower and various buildings located at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) in Warwick, RI. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, services, permits and equipment necessary for replacement/repair in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM SIZE STANDARDS (NAICS) FOR THIS REQUIREMENT IS 238160 Roofing Contractors. The size standard for the NAICS code is $19M. The FAA intends to issue the NTP within 45 calendar days after contract award date. For this requirement the contractor must provide all pre-construction (initial) submittals needed to issue the NTP to the FAA for review/approval within 21 calendar days after the contract award date. See specifications for list of initial submittals. *The FAA reserves the right to issue the NTP before or after the aforementioned 45 calendar days. The FAA anticipates an award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract type for this requirement. The project size for this requirement is estimated to be between $750,000 and $2,000,000. IN ORDER TO DO BUSINESS WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT YOU MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM). SEE AMS CLAUSE 3.3.1-33 "SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT" (JULY2018). Milestone Dates: All questions regarding the SIR should be submitted in writing via email to Sam Culberth (sam.g.culberth@faa.gov) no later than August 29, 2025 1700ET. See page 1, block 13 of this solicitation for the proposal due date, any proposal received after the proposal due date will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered for award.
