Introduction The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) – Aviation – is conducting market research to identify potential sources which may possess expertise, capabilities, and experience in providing a material support solution for identified National Stock Numbers (NSNs). This effort would encompass a singular competitive acquisition for all identified parts. The attached spreadsheet represents the current population of items DLA is seeking input on along with the respective quantities we may, or may not, procure. This spreadsheet also contains a tab for you to record your responses to this RFI. Acquisition Scope - Contract Type – One Time Procurement - Pricing – Firm Fixed Price - Delivery – Customer Direct (CD) – - Items shipped directly from the awardee to the customer General Questions - Can you support all these items and the quantities outlined on contract? - For items/quantities you are unable to support, what are the primary reasons? - Can you support Customer Direct (CD) delivery to the customer? - If required, could you provide First Article Test (FAT) submissions to the United States Government (USG) for review? - If applicable, include a narrative describing risks this effort might present to your business or the supplier base? It does not constitute a RFP or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Market Survey/RFI does not commit DLA to contract for any supply or service. DLA is not seeking proposals at this time, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that DLA will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Market Survey/RFI. All costs associated with responding to this Market Survey/RFI will be solely the responding party's expense. Responses shall not include proprietary information. Any responses that are marked proprietary will not be considered. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this Market Survey/RFI.
