The United States Government (USG) requires the services of a contractor to replace and maintain skylights at Government-Owned (GO) residences in Ciudad de Mexico, CDMX. The current skylight components have reached the end of their life cycle and require replacement to maintain the living standards originally intended for these residences. The USG requires a professional contractor with general services capabilities to supply and install skylight components within the specified timeframe. The project encompasses 22 GO units. The contractor will dismantle and remove the existing skylights from each house and replace all components. The work includes repairs to the surrounding areas of each installation to ensure waterproofing and prevent leaks. The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, raw materials, and transportation as well as adhere to all safety requirements per local law that are necessary to accomplish all required services. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a single award firm-fixed price contract for III Canadas Skylights Restoration Services. The Government is planning a Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference on May 13, 2026. The process to confirm time and location will be stated in the solicitation. The anticipated performance period is 10 (ten) business days per house and up to 90 (ninety) business days for the full project, as 3 houses are expected to be executed simultaneously. This work will be to replace and/or maintain skylights of the house. The current components have completed their life cycle and need to be replaced so the houses can offer a living standards as originally intended. For this reason, the United States Government (USG) requires a professional contractor with general services to supply and install skylights components for the houses within a given time frame. The project is to be executed in 22 GO units. The objective is to dismantle and remove by required means the skylight inside the houses and then to replace each component to include repairs in the surrounding areas of the installation to warranty waterproofing and/or avoid leaks in the skylights, as per the description in this SOW and attached annex, refer to pictures and dimensions for additional information. All materials are to be high quality, low maintenance USG approved, and work is to be executed following best practices. The awarded contractor will perform all the necessary preparation work to include but not limited to temporary partitions or limits to isolate the working area, removal of all debris, and disposal of any resulting item from the site for permanent removal. All works are to be coordinated with Embassy staff as required. As per FAR 36.204, it is anticipated that the range in price of this contract will be: Between $100,000 and $250,000 U.S. dollars.
