Summary

AI-generated · Jan 16, 2026

Identify capability to qualify and produce ALQ-161 Local Oscillator Synthesizers (NSN 5865-01-571-1593, P/N 7597720P2) for the ALQ-161 Electronic Warfare System. The Local Oscillator Synthesizer is a critical amplifier that increases weak RF signals to boost detection, analysis, and response to threats, improving system sensitivity and range.

The original equipment manufacturer is BAE (CAGE 94117), and the government does not have releasable data. BAE reportedly owns the necessary technical data and know-how to design and manufacture the item, making this a proposed sole-source procurement under FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties should express their capability to respond by the stated deadline. This is a sources-sought notice for market research only and not a solicitation or contract award.
