Title: Request for Information (RFI) for Pepsi Cans and Bottles support for DLA Troop Support to military customers in the States of Utah (UT) Dear Valued Suppliers: This is a Request for Information (“RFI”). DLA Troop Support’s (“Agency”) Subsistence Produce and Market Fresh Program is interested in comments and feedback regarding the Agency’s Pepsi Cans and Bottles items to the Department of Defense (“DoD” Troop). There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Please note that by responding to the instant Agency request, a potential offeror is not promised any future business with the Government. The sole purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to assist the Agency in crafting appropriate solicitation in the future. Background: The Agency intends to issue a solicitation and ultimately enter into indefinite quantity contract(s) (“IQC”) with a commercial firm(s) to supply canned and bottled soda products to military customers located in the State of Utah. Acceptance of supplies awarded under this solicitation will be limited to fresh product. All products delivered under this contract must conform to the following freshness requirements: Commercial standards should be used to maintain temperatures appropriate for the items. When proposing in response to a solicitation, failure to propose the specified quality requirement per item as identified above may render an offeror’s proposal technically unacceptable. This will consist of DoD Troop customers in the State of Utah. After soliciting, the Agency intends to make one award. Offerors are required to propose on all items in the Schedule of Items for Group 1. Failure to do so may result in a proposal being deemed technically unacceptable and therefore excluded from further consideration for award. Because the Contracting Officer is not obligated to initiate negotiations, when proposing to the solicitation each offeror shall submit its most competitive proposal for Group 1. Said proposal shall be responsive to all the Solicitation’s requirements and free from any deficiencies. Proposed contract ordering period is September 28 20, 2025 to September 28 20, 2030. This is a Solicitation notice regarding a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Subsistence Pepsi Cans and Bottles contract intended for servicing customers located in the State of Utah. Offers are due No Later Than 8PM Eastern Standard Time, 11 August 2025. Background: The Agency intends to issue an award and ultimately enter into one (1) Simplified Indefinite-Delivery Contract ( SIDC ) with a commercial firm to supply Pepsi Cans and Bottles products to military customers in the state of Utah. 1. Customers are One Group: Group 1 (Utah Troops). 2. These include Utah Cans and Bottles Products. The freshness requirement of the product being delivered may not be compromised. 3. The offeror s distance from the delivery location is very important. The offeror must be capable of delivering product to arrive at the delivery location the same day for emergency orders if necessary. 4. Commercial standards should be used to maintain temperatures appropriate for the individual items. When proposing in response to a solicitation, failure to propose the specified quality requirement per item as identified above may render an offeror s proposal technically unacceptable. This will consist of DoD/Troop customers in Utah. After soliciting, the Agency intends to make one award. Offerors are required to propose on all items in the Schedule of Items on which it offers. Failure to do so may result in a proposal being deemed technically unacceptable and therefore excluded from further consideration for award.
