Purpose: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of acquiring aircraft spare parts in support of a CASA/CN-235 aircraft. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued to determine the availability of qualified sources, including small businesses, to acquire the items specified in the attached Excel file. Disclaimer: This is not a solicitation or request for quotes, and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in responding to this notice or any follow-up information requests. Responses to this RFI are voluntary and will be used solely for market research purposes. Failure to respond or submit sufficiently detailed information may result in an interested vendor not being considered a likely Offeror when making a decision on whether or how to set aside a solicitation for restricted competition. Regardless of the information submitted, the Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as determined appropriate for this requirement. Next Steps: Based on the responses of this RFI, the USCG will review the capability of sources and the range of estimated pricing to determine if a sufficient budget to fund this requirement in the future exists. Should the USCG decide to proceed with a competitive acquisition strategy, a solicitation may be issued in the future on SAM.gov Contract Opportunities or distributed to contract holders if a strategically-sourced vehicle is deemed appropriate.
