The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace Roofs FCI 1 & SPC, at the Federal Prison Camp (FCC Oakdale), located in Oakdale, Louisiana. FCC Oakdale is a federally owned facility located at 1507 East Whatley Road, Oakdale, Louisiana 71463. The project consists of the following: Replacing approximately 47,000 sq. ft. of ceiling, 1,000 sq. ft. of skylights with associated framing, 115,000 sq. ft. of standing seam metal roofing, 30,200 sq. ft. of modified bituminous roofing, and 141,000 sq. ft. of exposed fastener metal roofing systems. FCC Oakdale is a United Stated federal prison for male inmates. See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachments for the complete requirements of the work. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 and Justice Acquisition Regulation (JAR) 2836.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $10,000,001.00 and $25,000,000.00. (NOTE: This range is one of 5 additional available ranges from JAR 2836.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238160 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million.
