This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05 (effective 8/7/25). This solicitation is full and open and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single contractor/vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. Basis for award is best value decision including evaluation factors of price, relative experience, and past performance. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service, Point Reyes National Seashore has a requirement for the removal, disposal, and complete replacement of the existing Lighthouse well pump. Government's anticipated period of performance is October 6, 2025 to December 18, 2025. SITE VISIT. An organized site visit is not scheduled. This is an amendment to a previously synopsized requirement for the National Park Service, Point Reyes National Seashore, to remove, dispose, and completely replace the existing Lighthouse well pump. This Amendment no. 1 is issued for the purpose of notifying all interested parties that the site visit information is changed as described below. Interested parties shall disregard previous site visit information and only refer to the changed site visit information in this amendment. SITE VISIT. The lighthouse well is in a remote area of the park and NPS will not be able to send someone there to accommodate interested contractors that want to see it. However, NPS can have someone onsite tomorrow, Wednesday, September 3rd from 12pm to 3pm (PDT) for any contractors that wish to see the site.
