Failure by the equipment vendor to provide appropriate Quality Control may result in issuance of a CDR, and /or termination of the contract. The Government will monitor the equipment vendor under this contract and reserves the rights to use whatever additional surveillance procedures are deemed appropriate. A Government employee will not be considered an Inspector unless he identifies himself as such to the Contractor, as the Contracting Officer, or COR. No inspector is authorized to change any provision of the specifications without written authorization of the Contracting Officer, nor will the presence or absence of an inspector relive the Contractor from a requirement of the Contract.
